Elie Saab
Elie Saab, a Lebanese fashion designer, was born in Beirut on July 4, 1964, into a Maronite Catholic household. Damour is where Saab is from. He was born to a timber trader and has four siblings. He started stitching as a youngster and has been teaching himself how to stitch professionally since then. He developed an interest in fashion when he was just nine years old. To follow his passion, he created his own clothing using newspaper cutouts and other materials from his mother's cupboard. His sister was his inspiration for the design and he was the family's surprise for making the gown for her. In 2011, Elie Saab launched his first fragrance 'Le Parfum' The range also includes recent interpretations of 'Le Parfum and 'Girl Of Now'
