5 things to do with Spring

Published by Leks on 22nd Apr 2017

1. Picnics

Spring marks the beginning of picnic season; whether it be a family fun day in the park or a romantic date for two, nothing beats spending time with your loved one(s) and doing it in an inexpensive fashion, whilst getting some good food too.

2. Back-to-back days of Sun

Being from the UK, back-to-back days of sun are a rarity for us at any time of the year, but Spring brings us our first few really warm days of the year, and boy does the country capitalise on it. One article states that between March and May, an average of 1.7million working days are lost due to "sickness". To those who do fall sick between these months, we hope you get better soon (a.k.a Go and catch them sun rays darling)

3. BBQs

I know this is more of a summer thing, but don't sleep on a good Spring BBQ. BBQs are always a good vibe, and they can be hosted fairly easily and don't need much planning to go into it. Just make sure that you don't forget our invite ;)

4. Hayfever

As a long time sufferer, I feel it would be innapropriate to mention Spring without mentioning the thing that strikes fear into the hearts of millions yearly... Hayfever. This allergy is surely the work of the devil himself. Like seriously, how are us sufferers unable to enjoy the beauty of the flowers blossoming because the flowers are trying to kill us.

5. Daisy

This one is for my hayfever sufferers. We may be allergic to the flowers, but Mr Jacobs makes sure we can still enjoy the radiant and enchanting Daisy. Fresh and free-spirited, there's nothing that screams Spring more than this fragrance. A violet heart, with wild strawberries as the top note and white wood accord at the base; not acquiring this fragrance to carry you through Spring and summer is you playing yourself.
