These ingredients have been a part of Korean beauty for the long time. The blend of beauty science and technology enhances the formulation of products.

South Korea is also the center of beauty innovation. It's not only the home to so many Korean beauty brands, but American and European beauty brands are manufactured here. There is no denying that the beauty industry is the fastest growing industry, there is always room for better innovation. The 10 steps skincare routine starts with oil cleansing.

1.Oil cleansing- It helps remove all dirt and excess oil by dissolving oil without being harsh on the skin.
2.Water-based cleanser- This step helps to get rid of any remaining oil or dirt residue left, leaves your skin squeaky clean.
3.Exfoliation- Exfoliation helps to get rid of dead skin cells. This step has to be done only once or twice a week.
4.Toner- Using a toner helps balance the ph level of the skin which may have been unbalanced by using cleansers.
5.Essence - This step helps boost collagen and helps cell turnover.
6.Treatment -The sixth step is to use a treatment for your concerned problems. Like fine lines, wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation, etc. You can skip this step if there is no need.
7.Sheet mask - Applying a sheet mask for hydration and give yourself relaxation time
8. Eye cream - Extra care for the area around your eye to prevent any damage.
9.Moisturiser - An integral part of every routine is to moisturize.
10.Sunscreen/ sleeping mask - A sunscreen in the morning to prevent from sun damage and sleeping mask at night for recovery.

Although there is no requirement to follow all steps. You can avoid steps which you feel you do not need. The idea behind these steps can be incorporated into your routine even though the products you are using are not Korean itself. Focusing on prevention, in general, is a good idea of taking care of the skin. Skincare is an investment and it is never too late to start a routine.
